P.E Reflection

Blind Throw

Today for P.E I played a game called the blind throw. There was a chair turned the other way so you cant see. There are three hola-hoops there is a red, green and yellow you get three bean bags and you have to try and get the bean bags in the hola-hoops if you get a bean bag in the red hola-hoop then you get 6 points, if you get a bean bag in the green hola-hoop you get 9 points and if you get it in the yellow hola-hoop then you get 13 points. Pinenga and I VS Ruby and jaedyon. Ruby and jaedyon won. The score was 9-0. The next day we played it again but we were aloud to look but the hoops were a bit further It was me and Ayden facing Noah and someone else. Ayden and me won. The blind throw was an awesome game and I would like to play it again.

My Report Reflection for Mid Year

Report Reflection for Mid Year

How have the learning muscles helped you with your learning in Maths and/or Literacy and in one other learning area for example Matariki, P.E, Art or Camp?

Maths & Art

I use my resourceful muscle in maths to help other people to learn new strategies from me, I can also learn just as much from them. In maths we are learning about area and volume. We are making boxes to measure the volume and the area.  In Art we made a koru design with other patterns first we had to draw it then we had to paint in the design. Next we had get some chork pastel and go over the colours that we thought needed more detail.

Explanation of How a Vehicle Works

How a Vehicle Works

Key words of what a car usually has:
  • Windows
  • Steering wheel
  • Bumper
  • Boot
  • Motor
  • Doors
  • Wheels
  • Seats
  • Spare wheel

Explanation - How a vehicle works…

A Vehicle is transportation.
Transportation is something that gets you where you want to go.

A vehicle has a motor and wheels. A motor is something that runs on gas that powers a vehicle. Wheels help a vehicle get wherever the driver wants to go. A vehicle has wheels so it can move. The Wheels on a car spin all the time unless it is in Park gear which means it has stopped and parked and that leads me to my next Paragraph.

All vehicles have gears. There are are 5-6 gears on a vehicle. There is park gear, drive gear, reverse gear, gear 1 which is the 2 wheels at the back only moving and then gear 2 which is when all the wheels are moving the back ones and the front ones.

A vehicle transports people to school, work, supermarket and places like that everyday. A vehicle has two or more wheels and sometimes has a spare wheel but of course a steering wheel.

All vehicles are different in all kinds of ways, some are big like a truck some are small like a two seater mini some have six wheels some have 2. A vehicle helps you get around.

That is how a vehicle works.
